The original recipe calls for linquica and chourico. It is out of this world, but of course higher in fat. It&#039;s not something that I worry about too much, but for my dad&#039;s sake we try to limit the fat.

I&#039;ve never canned kale, but I imagine it would can up just like spinach. I know my dad has frozen the kale, and it keeps well that way. Just wash it and chop it into bite sized pieces before you freeze it.</description>
