Deadline and diapers (or just in the nick of time)
Deadline is over at last, and I’m particularly pleased with how well this issue came together. And I’m even more pleased that my cloth diaper article that I’ve been whining about telling you about for ages is finally going to print! Hooray! (And incidentally, it turns out that Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia ice cream is even better than the best chocolate for getting through my writing fits… especially when it’s my very own pint hand delivered by my charming husband.)
So for all of you who have been sitting on the edge of your seats wondering, “When will she finally finish that dag nabbed article,” you can rest assured that it will hit your mail box in mid-August.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to do the happy dance with the kids… and wash diapers.

which issue? i don’t sub, but i can pick it up at a local hobby shop (and would be a perfect excuse to visit said hobby shop, even though i’m done with diapers).

Used cloth diapers on all my children. Gave my father-in-law fits. He just knew that they would get rash and sore tushies from the cloth. He bought paper diapers for me. I gave them to the church. I was forever showing him little bottoms to prove there was no rash. Just clean, healthy, nice smelling babies. But next sunday, I will be 61. No more babies for me.
The article will appear in issue 113, the September/October issue, which will hit the newsstands in late August, or thereabouts.
I just got the issue and went straight for the diaper article. It was great! Well written and a good overview of cloth diapering. I could have saved a lot of time if your article had come out when I was pregnant! Oh, and my 18 month old dd LOVES the baby picture in the article! She kept saying, “bebe, bebe!”
