I missed you!
June 17th, 2008
I know I’ve been away from the blog for a while, but we’ve been busy as heck. My folks are here visiting for a couple weeks. This weekend my dad and I will fly to Wisconsin for the MREA fair, while my step-mom and brothers stay here with my husband and kids.

The kids and I are moving home later this summer, so I’m taking advantage of some free labor while my strapping little brothers are here, and we’ve begun moving some of our larger furniture into our storage unit. Erik has been out in the field for several days, so he hasn’t seen all of the progress we’ve made.

We’re making plenty of time for play, too. My brothers are doing a fine job of wearing out the kids.
Happy to hear from you again, had me worried here for a while. Have a nice weekend with your Dad. Can’t wait to hear from you on a regular basis again. Kerstin
so close to me, and yet, so far! have fun, it’s supposed to be a lovely weekend.
If one may be allowed to ask–why are you moving home?
We’re moving back home for a while because my husband will be deploying to a war zone.
We all send our hopes and prayers your way for him. My son-in-law was over there for a year, two years ago. we were so happy to see him come home!!! The good thing was my daughter lived near us and her sister was living with her, so she had family to help with her baby. They moved back to Oklahoma after he got out and I miss them all since we live in Wa state.
good to “hear” from you annie. sending prayers for your erik while he’s over there, and you, of course. my stepson just came back last march. God bless.
Annie, it was so great to meet you at the MREA fair. It was my first time there and I enjoyed it very much. There were a LOT of folks around your table each time I stopped so didn’t really have a chance to talk but I did purchase some anthologies and a couple back issues. Your Dad looked like he was having a great time and was talking with everyone. Hope you had a good trip back home and enjoyed my home state of WI (even tho there was flooding in the south).
