I have to say that I am rather proud that I CAN make a lot of the things my family needs so I don't HAVE to go to the store. In fact, nearly every "hobby" I've cultivated is in direct result of a need. The need for clothing=learning to sew well. The need for warmth=learning to make quilts. The need for good food=learning to preserve with the canner. And of course everybody needs socks. :) Thank you!
