		<description>I never would have thought of doing it that way. Usually just make another seam out of runs and then zigzag over them on the flat for security. My absolute bane for mending is jeans!! The one thing my men folk seem to shred after the pants are a few months old. I either have to rip open a seam to patch underneath a hole on a leg, or try to do the dreaded crotch rips that make me just scream! Some of my son&#039;s pants are more patch than jeans now since he can&#039;t afford new ones yet and mom can&#039;t stand seeing hairy legs hanging out here and there. I love carpenters jeans with the double leg since they last longer.</description>
