Vogue 2802

May 8th, 2006

This November we’ll be attending the Marine Corps Birthday ball again, and I need a dress worthy of the event. I picked out this pattern (Vogue 2802) months and months ago (I had planned to make it for last year’s Ball, but we didn’t go.), along with clearance sale fabric from www.fabric.com to make a muslin. Well, as I began assembling the muslin, The Big E mentioned how much he liked the fabric, so now it’s the "real" gown. Last night I hand picked the zipper, and today I’m taking a little break to admire the dress on my dress form, "Fanny."
